This Is Our Jam: A$AP Rocky, “1 Train” (Feat. Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown)

Long.Live.A$AP is nigh at hand, and "1 Train" is the latest taste of A$AP Rocky's debut LP. The track is an epic posse cut featuring Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson & Big K.R.I.T. (so, basically everybody, ever). While the whole crew's rhymes are top-notch, Kendrick Lamar's ultra-tense take on gangster confrontation ("My K hot, your 9 cold, that bark like K9 drone") and Danny Brown's spastic rhyme schemes ("Weed a different color like a hoodrat's bra and pantie / And my flow be overhead like pots and pans in pantries") take the cake.

Then again, not one of these guys is phoning it in, so everyone is going to have their own favorite. You know it's a great track if everyone's arguing over who had the better verse, and for "1 Train" the jury's still out.
