We have a winner! World, meet Lancôme's newest Artliner 24H superstar, Ashleigh Thoits. The 26-year-old makeup maven from California blew us away with a way-cool cat-eye using three different Artliner 24H hues — a triple threat, if you will. She tells us, "I wanted to do something creative and different with a couple of the colors that I was provided, so I did a triple-line look. It took maybe about 20 or 25 minutes. I was really happy it came out the way I wanted, and I'm still so surprised I won!"
But, what's even more impressive than the time it took was the effort that Thoits took to perfect her craft. She cut her teeth at beauty school, but that wasn't enough. "In beauty school, they only spent one day teaching me makeup, and we just drew on little face charts. So, I basically just taught myself, watched a lot of videos, and practiced on people." And, well, the rest is history.
Of course, as you already know, the prize for beating out the other 23 finalists in this well-lined battle is a weekend in Paris with a traveling companion. And, in this case, that plus one oh-so-adorably happens to be Thoits' boyfriend, who's been wanting to go for a really, really long time. "I'm excited to see the Eiffel Tower and eat French food. I've never been there, so it'll be fun exploring. I've heard the shopping is really good there, too!" Seriously, how cute is that?
