President’s Day weekend comes at the perfect time in this robust month of February, and, in Miami, we’re not resting for a wink thanks to this weekend’s inaugural Art Wynwood event (oh, and the Boat Show and Coconut Grove Arts Festival). Taking place over a five-day span at the spacious Art Miami Pavilion, attendees will be able to experience over 500 artists from 13 countries, with an emphasis on the young and the contemporary. The various works that will be on display represent more than 50 U.S. and international galleries, proving what an immense cultural hub the downtown Miami area continues to develop into. What is this, micro-Basel in February? We like it. Already a popular tourist weekend in Miami, with Art Miami’s international influence, you can bet we’ll be seeing some extra visitors to the Magic City over this holiday weekend. What can we say, the more the merrier!
