Your October Love Horoscope, Revealed

October is the month for true love. The sun blazes a trail through Libra and Scorpio — the signs associated with partnerships and deep bonds. And from the 8th on, Mars and Venus stroll hand in hand — their magic getting some serious love from supersizer Jupiter. But will these heart-opening vibes point us to a new leading man or lady, or will they send us back in time? With Mercury retrograde until the 9th, the stars are spinning sentimental jams. Old flames could make a comeback, and couples may start feeling nostalgic. On the 27th, the tell-it-like-it-is full moon of Taurus helps us place people in their proper categories in our lives and make some serious plans for the future. Ready or not, this month’s about to stir up some feelings.

Aries Love Forecast

Indie-spirited Aries are ready to let go of that fierce need for freedom this month. With a stellar entourage hanging in your relationship zone, your urge to merge will be stronger than ever. Be patient: There could be romantic roadblocks and lovers’ quarrels while Mercury is retrograde through the 9th. A persistent ex could start blowing up your phone. But as tempting as a do-over may be, don’t go there unless it was merely bad timing that pushed you apart.

Fortunately, the new moon on the 12th helps you hit the restart button. You’ll swiftly delete the losers or rise above and apologize if you’ve been less than loving with your bae. New prospects will roll in, too. With Mars and Venus in your sixth house of service and wellbeing, you could connect through a volunteer gig or even at the gym. Turn your bedroom buddy into your fitness buddy, and vibe off your newfound energy.

Your Beauty Forecast: Heavy Metal
To get the look, blend a copper shadow across your entire lid, sweeping the shade up and through the crease. Apply the same shade along your lower lashline — doing so lets you double down on light-catching metallic flecks that make eyes sparkle. Next, use your index finger to tap a cream shadow in a complementary shade across your upper eyelid, just below your brow, for added depth and dimension. Shape and define your brows with a pencil, then layer on lots of mascara to stand out against the mega-metallic finish. Contour your cheekbones using an angled brush and a bronze highlighter, then top your cheekbones with a dusting of rosy powder blush. Finish the look with multiple coats of deep-magenta lip gloss. Keep going until you’ve reached your desired shade — we say the bolder, the better.
