It’s Here! Your Monthly Love Horoscope Awaits

comments
Va-va-voom! May is off to a sultry start thanks to a full moon in Scorpio on the 3rd. As the sun tours traditional Taurus toward the end of the month, you’ll get the urge to settle down. (Do we hear bells?) But, don’t start doodling names in hearts and Googling wedding china just yet. Passionate Mars will swoop into flirty Gemini on May 11. (Watch out: Your eyes may wander during this six-week phase.) This month could also bring second thoughts about a romance — or a second chance with the one who got away. Don’t be too quick to categorize people in the second half of the month. You may just find that friends can become lovers and deeper connections are revealed. Buckle up your seat belts — May is coming in hot.

Aries Love Forecast

Your mojo may be in slo-mo as May opens up, but consider it a good thing, Aries. With Venus decamping to cozy Cancer from the 7th, coupled Aries will enjoy more nights in, cooking dinner together and spooning through that Netflix queue. Single? Log out of Tinder for a bit and opt for IRL connections. With Mars heating up the local scene from the 11th on, you could find love at the neighborhood hot spots or during general hangouts with friends.

With your short attention span, you’ve been known to give up on people before they’ve had a chance to show you their best. But, this month, someone you wrote off as boring could reveal endearing traits, especially near the Scorpio full moon on the 3rd. Your best strategy for attracting love in May, however, could be spending more time with your friends. Not only will their company boost your confidence, but they also make killer matchmakers. One girl’s friend-zoned castoff is another girl’s soulmate. When Mercury turns retrograde on the 18th, an old hookup could show up for more fun. YOLO rationalizing aside, this could be more disruptive than you realize — especially if you’ve already got a good thing brewing with someone else. Proceed with caution.

Your Beauty Forecast: Playful Purple
To get the look, keep the brows light by just brushing them up with a brow gel. Choose a shimmery lilac cream shadow, and paint the whole eyelid and past the outside corner. Bring the cream shadow just below the inner corner, too. Follow with a bright-purple eyeshadow to create a dense yet matte finish. If you want to get playful, draw sparkly purple dots on top of the shadow using a glittery liquid eyeliner or shadow. Finish your cheeks with a bright-coral cream blush, and color in your lips with a matching lip gloss.
