A Free Post-Holiday Detox — You’re Welcome!

2
While a typical Friday night usually consists of cocktails and dinner at one of Chicago's amazing restaurants, if you're like us, you've already had your lion's share of food and drink the past few days. But let's not kid ourselves, ringing in the new year with carrot sticks and hemp milk is not an option — but drying out for a few days before certainly is.
Trade your wine (or whiskey, or vodka) tasting this Friday, December 27, for a tea tasting at Argo in the Loop at 5 p.m. The emporium of all things leafy, organic, and good boasts an impressive selection of brews from all over the globe (take that, Early Grey!). Taste for yourself while nibbling on scrumptious bites and taking in a presentation from Venetian architect Piero Siega. Gee, clean-drinking culture...could this be the beginning of a new you in 2013? Maybe — but we suggest you wait until after that New Year's Eve bubbly to wipe the slate clean.
Argo Tea, 16 West Randolph Street (at State Street); 312-324-3899.
