Rad or Bad: Are Platform Flats the Latest Trend-Fail From the ’90s?

When it comes to footwear, we're not about to sacrifice a toe or two to trendiness. Comfort, walk-ability, and a blister-free promise rank a little higher than how many times our shoes have been style-paparazzi-ed. However, there is a line that divides our wedges from Crocs, and we're not sure on which side the new crop of platform flats fall. These raised comfort sandals are an Opening Ceremony favorite and just showed up in '90s megabrand Calvin Klein's spring show. We had a leather pair that we used to rock with our short-alls back in the day, but we've since committed all our Babysitter's Club-wear to do-not-repeat territory. But since you're the ones who really have the say, do platform flats rise to the occasion or do these babies fall...well, flat?
