Your August Love Horoscope, Revealed

Get ready to relive the good old days. This August, romantic Venus is retrograde, making us all quite nostalgic. We could reconnect with an ex, search “the one that got away,” or take a heartwarming trip down Memory Lane with our mates. However, not all systems are go. While Venus is driving in reverse, we’re more likely to misconstrue people’s feelings. Is it a fling or the real thing? That won’t always be clear. But, remember, with Jupiter heading into precise, particular Virgo for a year on August 11, we can afford to be more selective. Only the best, dahhhlings, only the best.

Aquarius Love Forecast

Sustainability is not just for farming, Aquarius. With five planets in your commitment house this August, you’re looking for love that lasts and regenerates. You carry a long list, though. Can any mere mortal live up? Chill out a little, and you’ll be surprised how much opposites really do attract. You may fall for someone who totally breaks from type — especially near the new moon on the 14th.

With Venus retrograde all month, you could get back together with an ex — or finally get some closure about a sad breakup. After the 11th, Jupiter lays down the gauntlet. Are you really that into the one you say you adore? If so, your bond could become rock-solid. Yep, you might just put a ring on it or merge your assets in other ways. If not, it’s time to bounce. You’ll both be happier once the smoke clears.

Your Beauty Forecast: Luxe Lashes
To get the look, start by drawing a thick cat-eye using black liquid liner. Sketch the wing from the outer corner of your eye, using the end of your eyebrow as a guideline to flick it up and out. Then, flip your liner, and pull the line from the outermost tip of the wing back in toward your lower lashline. This creates a super-precise shape. Brighten the inner corner of your eye with highlighter. Now, for the drama: Apply a strip of false lashes to your upper lashline. Line up the falsies with your upper lashline first, and then trim the strip to fit. After you place glue along the strip, press it on from the inner corner of your eye working outward. Try individual sets of lashes for your lower lashline — one set at the outer corner, one in the middle, and one a smidge outward from the inner corner. Finish with a pop of pink powder blush on the apples of your cheeks and a glossy pink balm on your lips.
