Antique Roadshow: Brooklyn Antique Outpost Celebrates Halloween Early

By: Max Berlinger

KillDevilHill1028.jpgThose crazy cats over at Kill Devil Hill are trying to jump start your Halloween spirit tonight by hosting a special French 75 party at their lovely vintage boutique out in Greenpoint. This old-timey store has an out West general store feel, but offers the modern necessities for any New York cowboy (and cowgirls). Perhaps that is why they have already landed on The Times' best new stores list ('course, we got there first). Anywho, French 75 cocktail involves some bizarre story about World War I pilots. But we're not here for a history lesson. All we need to know is that it's made with gin, champagne, lemon juice and sugar—we'd never be afraid of that.

Old Time Drink Night at Kill Devil Hill , 170 Franklin St, between Kent and Java. Tonight, October 28th starting at 7pm.
