Blogger How-To: The Fashion Poet Does Gaga's Hair Bow

In Miami, we have a whole host of fashion bloggers who not only provide readers with daily inspiration and fash news but also help lift our sartorial profile in the eyes of the rest of the country. Miami bloggers have a certain chispa — an attitude and flavor — that comes from living in a truly bright, beachy, and multi-cultural city.
As such, we've recruited some of our fave ladies to show us what they've got, sartorially speaking. Our latest subject is the crazy stylish Annie Vazquez of The Fashion Poet — she's kind of a BFD in these parts, what with dining with Christian Louboutin and being a regular at NYFW. We're always taking a peek at her posts for her colorful, South Beach-inspired ensembles and any updates on Fashion Bloggers Do It Better. Here, Annie takes us on a trip to Blo Blow Dry Bar Midtown for a step-by-step tutorial on how to get Lady Gaga's infamous bow bun. Seriously, it's super simple (six steps total!), and all you need are 20 bobby pins, one hairbrush, and hair spray. Now, time to break out that meat dress from the freezer!

Step 1: Brush — unclean hair is preferred because the bun will hold up longer. (Oh, and that's Annie's real hair, no extensions!)

Step 2: Pull hair back into a high ponytail.

Step 3: Fold the ponytail toward your forehead to create a loop. Then, split the first loop in half to create two loops.
