12 Angora Sweaters That Were Practically Made For Cuddling

Aside from peppermint tea juleps and hot buttered rum, our favorite way to enjoy cold, snowy weather is by cozying up by the fire in warm knits. Unfortunately, braving the winter from inside isn’t always an option.
And, while we love to layer, throwing on sweater over sweater (over sweater) often leads to cold-weather bulk (not a good look, friends), so it’s important to search for hefty fabrics that won’t bunch, hang, or add cumbersome, bulky volume. Case in point: angora.
Because angora wool is a soft, down-like fiber that offers substantial warmth (don't worry, it's safely and painlessly sheared from the rabbit!), you’ll be able to layer up and move comfortably. As a bonus, unlike merino or cotton blends, angora keeps its shape, so pieces made with the fiber are fit for all-day wear. Since we suspect you want your winter wardrobe to be as warm as possible, we rounded up a dozen decidedly chic sweaters, each woven with a portion of angora rabbit hair. Now get on out there and enjoy the cold — or at least look good while you try.
