What inspired you to start Got a Girl Crush?
"Meg and I started Got a Girl Crush in 2009 because we were both itching to take on a side project. We knew it was a topic we could dive into from a lot of different angles and loved that it had a positive vibe, so we started a blog. Then in 2011, we decided to take the project beyond our screens and make a print magazine comprised of interviews with ladies who are doing amazing things in our own backyards. We both love photography and printed matter and plus, Meg's a photographer by trade — so taking that next step was kind of a no-brainer!"
