All The Celebrities Who Started Dating In 2017

Tired of worrying about your own love life? Don't worry — Hollywood has more than enough love lives, love triangles, and love scandals you can spend your time tracking. In 2017, a whole new host of celebrity couples sprouted up for you to follow at your leisure.

Some couples formed in the midst of divorce proceedings. Other couples reunited after a period of being broken up. One couple was Jelena. And no fewer than three couples were formed between employees of Saturday Night Live and A-List celebrities.

So, without further ado, here are many of 2017's new couples to keep your eye on, as they progress through the phases of every celebrity couple: hand holding, red carpet appearances, Instagram posts, and public comments about their partner in the press.

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez

Bieber and Gomez made their relationship official for the first time in February 2011, when they showed up together at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. Since then, Jelena has followed a consistent on-again, off-again pattern, leading us to this most recent "on again" stage.

Soon after Gomez and the Weeknd broke up in October 2017, she and Bieber started hanging out. As of November, they've reached the "Kissing in Public" stage of a celebrity relationship.

Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott

Jenner split from her longtime boyfriend, Tyga, earlier this year. She began dating rapper Travis Scott — née Jacques Webster, Jr. — around April 2017, and is reportedly pregnant with his baby.

Dev Patel & Tilda Cobham-Hervey

Patel and Cobham-Hervy haven't publicly confirmed their relationship, but the couple has been pictured holding hands and attending red carpets together. You can catch them acting alongside one another in Hotel Mumbai, a movie based on the true story of the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008.

Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez

This couple is one we probably should've seen coming. As Alex Rodriguez put it to Vanity Fair: “We are very much twins. We’re both Leos; we’re both from New York; we’re both Latino and about 20 other things.”

They seem to be utterly crazy about each other. "This is the first relationship I’ve been where I feel like we really make each other better. We complement each other, and there’s really pure, true love. Just wanting to support the other person and make them happy. So there’s a different selflessness in the love that’s beautiful and different. And healthy!” J-Lo told HOLA! USA.

The One Direction singer dated Eleanor Calder, a model, for three years. They split for two, and got back together around February. He got a tattoo of an "E" in Eleanor's honor in July.

Ah, young love. Beckham and Moretz broke up back in September 2016 — one of many break-ups in their storied relationship. They seemed to get back together in March 2017, and now, can't stop gushing in the press.

“I think we chose each other. It’s been years now off and on and it’s just one of those things, you come back and it’s like no time spent away from each other at all,” Moretz told Us Weekly.
Scott Disik & Sofia Richie

The rumors of Disick and Richie's potential relationship began during the Cannes Film Festival in May 2017, when they were spotted partying on a yacht together. Richie assured her Twitter followers that she and Disick were "just homies." Fast forward a few months, and Richie and Disick are vacationing together and kissing, and are clearly an item.
Lady Gaga & Christian Carino

Gaga and her boyfriend, music agent Christian Carino, became official in February 2017. “The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall," Gaga told Page Six of her boyfriend, who she started dating about a year after splitting from Taylor Kinney.
Mariah Carey & Brian Tanaka

Carey and her boyfriend, backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, have been dating since the very end of 2016. They reportedly split after five months of dating, and are back together now.
Ben Affleck & Lindsay Shookus

In July, news broke that Ben Affleck was reportedly dating SNL producer Lindsay Shookus. They appeared at the Emmys in September, arm-in-arm.
Jesse Williams & Minka Kelly

Williams and his wife of five years, Aryn Drake-Lee, divorced earlier this year. They'd been together for 13 years. In the spring, Williams and began dating his Butler co-star, Minka Kelly. They met while shooting a video game in Paris.

Hallelujah! Our official Favorite Couple appeared to have gotten back together in November, after splitting back in February. They've been spotted searching for a New York apartment together. Swoon.
Sarah Hyland & Wells Adams

Wells didn't find love on The Bachelorette, but he did find it in Hollywood. And isn't that the dream? Adams and the Modern Family actress have reportedly been dating since the fall, soon after Hyland separated from her boyfriend of two years, Dominic Sherwood. In an Instagram caption, Hyland said to Adams, "You're my favorite thing."

Sam Smith & Brandon Flynn

Smith was seen kissing Brandon Flynn, who starred as Justin Foley in Thirteen Reasons Why, in New York this October. Smith confirmed the relationship on Ellen. "I'm quite happy, so it's quite weird," he told her.

Ewan McGregor and Eve Mavrakis were married for 22 years, and had four daughters together. The couple separated in May. In October, McGregor was spotted kissing Mary Elizabeth Winstead, whom he met on set for Fargo. She also split from her husband in May.

At the Emmy Awards, Colin Jost, an SNL cast-member, finally spoke out about his low-key relationship with Scarlett Johansson: "She’s pretty’s hard to have a lot of complaints, she’s pretty awesome. I’m very happy. I feel very lucky.” We're happy he has no complaints.

The pair has been reportedly linked since May.
