Everything That Happened To The Kardashians In 2017 — So Far

Update: December 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

As we anxiously await the possibility of a Kardashian pregnancy announcement/Christmas card, we'd like to revisit what has been a turbulent year for America's most lavish family.

Original story follows.

The Kardashians, whether you like them or not, provide iconic pop culture moments just about every month like clockwork. It's their brand! If they keep doing crazy things and recording it on social media, then they'll continue to have prime drama for their reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which will then gain more viewers, which then gives them a wider customer base for their growing array of Kardashian merchandise.

This year feels particularly Kardashian-heavy, perhaps because the past month has introduced not one, but three reported new pregnancies in the growing family. It also might be because the other headline-making moments of the year — Graham-Cassidy, Skinny Repeal, and Hurricanes Maria, Irma, and Harvey to name a few — have been so utterly devastating to read about. In contrast, news about sisters reportedly growing their family feels downright cheerful.

And, since keeping up with the Kardashians this year is a little whiplash-inducing, we've compiled a comprehensive list of everything that's happened to them in the year 2017. Ahead, a chronological guide to the one of the most talked about families in the world.

February

A quiet month for the family. Kimye announces plans for a clothing line for kids, and Kim realizes she and Saint West have the same cry face. Kim also starts a book club and Khloé Kardashian announces that Good American, her denim line, will be making more than just jeans.

March

Kim Kardashian breaks her silence on the Paris robbery in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She theorizes that the robbers were watching her Snapchat story; that's how they knew her bodyguards weren't around.

On a lighter note, Rob Kardashian celebrates his birthday, and the family rallies around him (again).

April

Scott Disick, the sometimes villain-sometimes court jester of the family, expresses that he's not over Kourtney Kardashian.

Meanwhile, Rob, the lost Kardashian, mourned his breakup with Blac Chyna. The couple had a public meltdown on Snapchat in December of 2016, after which they broke up, then reconciled, then broke up again, moved on, and so on and so forth. The breakup would get uglier, but in April, it was innocent: Rob was forlorn. Kim wanted him to buck up and move on from the unhealthy relationship.

This is also the month that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott attend a basketball game together, fueling rumors that they're dating.

May

Kylie Jenner takes a crowded Met Gala selfie. Kim Kardashian attends the gala sans Kanye — she tells Vogue that Kanye's just "taking some time off." Kendall Jenner, meanwhile, seemed to confirm her rumored relationship with A$AP Rocky with some lip gloss.

Then, Rob Kardashian dedicates a loving post to Blac Chyna, his estranged girlfriend. The post has since been removed.

June

The summer of 2017 introduced a new era of Scott Disick. All of a sudden, Disick was dating just about everyone. He and Bella Thorne enjoyed a brief fling in Cannes, although both deny they ever had a romantic relationship. (He was photographed touching her breast, which, honestly, could mean anything.)

And it wasn't just Bella Thorne. In 2017 so far, Disick has been linked to Bella Banos, Jessica Harris, Amber Davis, Ella Ross, Chloe Bartoli, Chantal Jeffries, Maggie Petrova, and Sofia Richie.

June also ushered in the era of babies: In late June, sources confirmed that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hired a surrogate to have a third child. Khloé Kardashian hints in a since-deleted Snapchat that she might be pregnant.

July

Welcome to the month of Rob Kardashian's social media disaster — abandon all hope, ye who enter. Rob goes on a sexist rant on Instagram posting revenge porn about his erstwhile girlfriend Blac Chyna. Chyna subsequently hired a lawyer and filed a restraining order against Kardashian.

August

Kylie Jenner debuts her reality show Life of Kylie. It's both riveting and not.

Kim K. has some ups and downs: On a high notes, she channels Jackie O. in a shoot for Interview Magazine. Earlier in the month, though, she has to apologize to fans after defending Jeffree Star, a makeup entrepreneur regularly accused of racism.

September

The month of fertility? In early September, TMZ reports that Kylie Jenner is pregnant. The family refuses to confirm or deny.

Kris Jenner told The Cut, "[Kylie's] not confirmed anything. I think it’s kind of wild that everyone is just assuming that that’s just happening."

Then, news breaks that Khloé Kardashian is reportedly pregnant as well.

October

October, like every other month in late 2017, was a big month for speculating about the maybe-babies. Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson dressed as Game of Thrones' Khaleesi and Khal Drogo. Daenerys is the "mother of dragons" in the show, which led fans to believe the costume was a subtle nod to Kardashian's possible pregnancy.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian's Aliyah costume caused controversy when fans accused her of appropriation.

"I am truly sorry if that offended anyone,” Kardashian wrote in an official apology. “When I was creating the costume, I wasn’t dressing up as a race or culture but rather as a woman whom I will always admire. I play every kind of genre of music in my home and I like for my kids to be exposed to many different artists.”

November

In November, the Kardashians mingled with other pop culture juggernauts like Jennifer Lawrence and Millie Bobby Brown. Kim and Khloé Kardashian discovered Stranger Things (about a year too late) and Kim went on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she was interviewed by Jennifer Lawrence.

This was also the month Kourtney Kardashian revealed that she has a nude photo of Khloé Kardashian on display in her home.

December

December was a month of reveals for the Kardashians. Scott Disick and Sofia Richie made their couple debut at Art Basel Miami, and Kim Kardashian started hinting at a forthcoming Christmas card. Everything about her Christmas card hints pointed to the possibility of a pregnancy announcement. Plus, a promo for an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians featured Khloé Kardashian making some mysterious announcement while her friends and family wept.
