With much voyeuristic glee, we took a peek into Alexander Wang's new Tribeca residence, courtesy of a W mag article written by former New York Times Style Editor Holly Brubach, who took a tour of the space that, ironically, she used to own. If Wang's clothes are the ones you put on when you're partying with the cool kids, it stands to reason that his pad is where you go to carouse with afore-mentioned cool kids. And that's exactly how Wang likes it. The 2,200-square-foot loft, decorated by old college pal Ryan Korban, has been designed with the intention of serving as a sexy backdrop to weekend parties where all his equally sexy friends can come to dance and drink without feeling cramped. And while Wang's clothes bear the trademark grungy look that he has come to be known for, the interiors are anything but. In fact, the place seems like a sleek and sexy ode to black, white, chrome and...animals? Yep, Wang's got a menagerie in there, with black crocodile dining chairs, zebra rugs, and a so-plush-it's-a-crime fox throw carefully scattered about to ensure that his posh pals can drape themselves about and still look uber chic even when they're deeply inebriated. Personally, we want to steal the buckled leather couch, just because we might be able to pass it off as the latest Wang bag that no one else can buy.
