Sure, they say the early bird catches the worm. But let’s be real: If we’re waking up at the crack of dawn, we’ll take a packed-to-the-brim bag stuffed with goodies galore and pass on the proverbial worm, please. Thankfully, the peeps at the Alameda Point Vintage Faire feel us.
So, if you're heading to the sprawling sale this weekend, you’ll likely catch anything from rare Art Deco jewelry to kitschy memorabilia from the '70s. At the size of three ballrooms and packed with pre-loved goodies, this outdoor marketplace puts our monthly flea markets to shame. And let’s just say — that’s a pretty tough thing to do.
We know you’re probably a pro at navigating the labyrinth-like displays of merch at S.F.’s storied sales, but this vintage wonderland can get a bit overwhelming at times (we said three ballrooms, people!). So, in between scouring for Victorian-style couches and retro frames, don't forget to pay a visit to the plethora of food trucks on site to refuel.
And here’s a little tip for all you early risers: The good stuff goes first, and fast. So, roll out of bed, grab a strong cup of brew, and hightail it to the can’t-miss event. Oh, and we're on the hunt for the perfect baker's table... so stay out of our way!
