Aggy Becomes A Hare Krishna In V Magazine
In the September issue of V Magazine (#67), out September 2, the publication is giving love to all things NYC—it's appropriately dubbed the New York issue. Our favorite editorial may be "Saint Mark's Place," which features supermodel Agyness Deyn as you've never seen her before. Shot by Alasdair McLellan, Aggy gets in the East Village vibe, sporting the same face paint worn by Hare Krishnas the world over, looking slightly gutter-punk with a wicked painful piercing, and channeling Britney Spears-gone-goth with a giant bag of Cheetos. Natch, hand-rolled ciggies are all over the place, while Doc Martens, mesh shirts, and tons and tons of studs make multiple cameos. Let's hope she doesn't hand us a pamphlet.
