First Look: AETHER’s Airstream Boutique!

News of another pop-up shop hitting town is one thing, but a temporary boutique that resides in a sleek Airstream trailer is another altogether. And that's precisely what tech-savvy sportswear label AETHER has set up in S.F.'s very own mobile-focused shopping lot, PROXY.
In what the brand is considering the "ultimate shop on wheels," the AETHERstream is a collaboration between the clothing company's founders, Jonah Smith and Palmer West, and Parisian designer Thierry Gaugain, a longtime colleague of Phillipe Starck.
Built out of a gutted classic Airstream PanAmerica with a hatch door in the back (aka, the entrance of the "store"), the concept shop has already made stops in Los Angeles and New York, and, as of tomorrow, February 22, at 432 Octavia Street in San Francisco!
Before you head on over to Hayes Valley to take in the eight-week pop-up, which comes outfitted in reclaimed wood and objects culled from the Paris Flea Market, check it out in all of its glory with our exclusive first look after the jump.
