First Look: The Academy Of Art’s Fall ’12 NYFW Collection

If there's one show that sticks out on San Francisco's low-key fashion calendar, it's that of the students at the Academy of Art University. Not only is it the hands-down best show in the city (here's the proof!), going down in the spring, it's also the only student-focused runway presentation that takes its show on the road all the way to New York Fashion Week.
On February 10, nine M.F.A. students (eight creating womenswear, one presenting a men's collection) will be showing at the Lincoln Center tents. And since many of you probably aren't keen on heading to the Big (Chilly) Apple at this time of year, we've got a little sneak peek for you.
Click through to catch a glimpse of the different collections and learn all you need to know about the budding talents that we can (kinda-sorta) call our own.
