If Christian Louboutin was the new Manolo Blanhik, then we're calling it—Brian Atwood is the new Loub. With his vertiginous heels gracing every A-list celebrity on both coasts, this dude is to shoes what Edison was to the light bulb. The ex-model, who's still smokin' by the way, developed his chops designing Versace footwear before launching his eponymous label in '01. In the next nine years, Atwood scored a CFDA award, spent some time as the Creative Director of Bally, and created a limited-edition book with Rene Russo. Since his pumps spend so much time pounding the NYC pavement, we turned to the designer to share his top spots, from the best place to get in some bad-ass boxing to where to buy cupcakes to ruin your figure later. Just remember to wear your highest heels!
Here's 5 NYC spots to sport those 6-inch stilettos!
