The Kentucky clerk refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses is due in court this morning. Maybe the judge will ask her what it feels like to be on the wrong side of history.

Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who's been refusing to grant marriage licenses, could be fined or even face jail time. It turns out Davis herself has been married four times. She told reporters that she fears complying with the law would result in her own damnation, since such action violates “a central teaching” of the Bible. No word yet on whether she has stumbled upon the part of the Bible that teaches “a woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives.” (Uproxx)

The president locked down the votes needed for a nuclear deal with Iran. When your kids study Obama in history, this is going to be on the quiz.

Sen. Barbara Mikulski announced today that she'll back Obama's deal with Iran — giving POTUS the 34 votes he needs to override a Republican veto. That means the multi-country agreement that lifts sanctions on Iran in exchange for curbing the nation's nuclear ambitions will almost certainly come to pass, despite huge objections from the GOP. #Legacy. Pre-trial hearings began for the six Baltimore officers accused in Freddie Gray’s death. So far, fears of riots have been unfounded.

Almost five months after Freddie Gray suffered a fatal spinal cord injury while in police custody, prosecutors and defense attorneys met in downtown Baltimore to make the first public arguments in what is sure to be a highly publicized trial. Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry G. Williams denied the defense’s motions to dismiss the charges against the six Baltimore police officers because of alleged prosecutorial misconduct as well as recuse Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby from the case. The trial is scheduled to begin in October, when the officers will face charges ranging from assault to second-degree depraved-heart murder. (The Baltimore Sun)

A report says Donald Trump is an inveterate cheater at golf. Somehow, we don't think this will sink his campaign. Republican presidential contender Donald Trump, who has gone on record saying he holds the amateur record on his Palm Beach golf course and has a handicap index of four, may be a big ol’ cheater cheater pumpkin eater: The Washington Post’s investigation into Trump’s golf prowess unearthed more than one player who allegedly witnessed the real estate mogul dropping and raking balls. As Rick Reilly, a sportswriter who once caddied for Trump, says, “when it comes to cheating, he’s an 11 on a scale of one to 10.” (Washington Post)
Hulu announces a new, commercial-free option; your autumn just became a whole lot less active.

In an effort to more effectively compete with streaming rivals Netflix and Amazon, Hulu will add an $11.99-per-month commercial-free subscription plan. The new ad-free option will not replace Hulu Plus, the service’s “limited commercials” subscription, which is priced at $7.99 per month. Along with launching this new plan, Hulu has begun investing in original programming such as the Amy Poehler-produced comedy Difficult People and 11/22/63, a limited series from J.J. Abrams and Stephen King. The only question: Is "Hulu and hang" the next "Netflix and chill" — and is it as dangerous? (Refinery29)
A breakthrough new arm-patch has been approved to treat migraines — and it could bring massive relief to millions. The more than 30 million Americans who suffer from migraines may have cause to celebrate: Zecuity, an FDA-approved, battery-powered patch that treats migraines, is now available in the U.S. The patch, which wraps around a patient’s upper arm or thigh much like a bandage, works by delivering medication directly through the skin over the course of four hours. The drug, sumatriptan, is one of the most commonly prescribed medications for migraine treatment. (Refinery29)
Samantha Bee released a teaser for her new late-night show, Full Frontal. When it airs, she'll be the lone she-wolf of late night — and we couldn't be more excited.

The former Daily Show correspondent will take center stage when her new TBS show, Full Frontal, debuts in January. Bee will be the first woman entering the late-night fray since Chelsea Handler stepped down from her popular E! show in 2014. While it may seem that there is a new face behind a desk every night, they’re really all the same: white and male. But if Bee's priapic new promo is any indication, she doesn’t mind being the lone queen holding court. She has the balls it takes to succeed. (Vulture)
