    America is like an onion, or a Leandra Medine outfit, or bed in a house without heating, or pretty much anything with a lot of layers. The point is, the massive, ever-expanding history of this country is impossible to exhaust. So, it's becoming a tradition for us to take a trip down some of the least-traveled roads of America's past. And, since this is the Internet, there's no better (or more fun) way to do that than by way of Wikipedia.
