    You know that moody-feminine-quirky mix that's, well, everywhere? That was definitely influenced by designer extraordinaire Abigail Ahern. When she's not designing her cleverly chic products, collaborating with international brands, and serving as style ambassador to notable publications, she'll be bringing massive doses of her cool-girl style, glamorous aesthetic, and English wit to R29.
    I’ve seen and made a number of decorating mistakes in my time, from hanging artwork way too high to painting an entire hallway burnt orange. Of course, we know decorating can be costly, difficult to nail, and very emotional. And, sometimes you can spot instantly that you’ve messed up, while other times it's more subtle, when you can't quite pinpoint what's not working.

    I’ve worked with clients all over the globe and have seen the same mistakes over and over again. I'm not talking about style here — how we design our homes is totally subjective. Instead, I've found rather simple mistakes, common pitfalls that are super easy to fall into.
