As the adage goes, news travels fast. And, in a city as socially connected as S.F., "fast" doesn't even cut it — try lightning speed. That's why we local editors work around the clock to keep our eyes on the prize and ears to the ground to bring forth the buzziest and freshest headlines in and around our city. From some choice upgrades to our fave car service to the, er, "least desirable" bars in the Bay, here's everything you need to know this week.

In need of some interior inspiration? The Aesthetic Union’s James Tucker and his Mission shop and houseboat were profiled on popular home and design site Freunde von Freunden. Can we move in? (Freunde von Freunden)

Whoa! Lyft just upped the ante with its launch of premium, tricked-out SUVs hitting the road ASAP. The interiors were designed by West Coast Customs, and the new cars feature an ultra-luxe interior, added goodies, and, perhaps most shockingly, no pink mustache. (Lyft)

Rare Device is expanding and moving into Noe Valley very soon. The cute, design-forward store will swing open the doors to its second location at the end of June. (Racked SF)

Uh oh. Complex has choice words for some of S.F.’s watering holes. The publication complied its list of the “douchiest” bars in the city. (Complex)

Forget mean Tweets — Bay Area chefs read bad Yelp reviews aloud. Hilarious? (Eater SF)
