Cuyana's Spring Collection Preview
To ring in a new season of lighter shades and thinner layers, Cuyana invites you to preview its new collection. Fashionable local ladies, such as Crystal Palecek of Rue Magazine, Refinery29's very own Angela Tafoya, Leilani Marie Labong, and Chloe Harris of 7x7 will also be in attendance. The girls will be lending their keen styling eyes over cocktails, bites, music, and more. Bring a tee, wallet, or clutch that you no longer wear, and Cuyana will donate it for you! In return, you receive a credit towards a new tee from the brands line.
When: Saturday, March 8, 2 to 5 p.m.
Where: Cuyana Showroom, 291 Geary Street, Suite 201 (between Powell and Stockton streets); 888-993-9092.
Patrick Dunaway Installation at Esqueleto
Abstract artist Patrick Dunaway will be posted up at Oakland's Esqueleto showing his intriguingly colorful works. Stop by this month's First Friday for the reception, a chance to meet the artist, and to shop the store's killer merch. Each piece consists of original pen-and-ink drawings, making them all perfectly eccentric accents for your city flat. The installation will run through March 30, so you'll have a chance to score a print even if you don't make it Friday.
When: Friday, March 7, 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Esqueleto, 482 49th Street, Suite A (between Telegraph and Clarke); 510-629-6216.
Creative Block Book Signing Party
Author Danielle Krysa, the self-proclaimed jealous curator, lands in S.F. ready to splash some inspiration on us all. To celebrate her book Creative Block: Advice and Projects from 50 Successful Artists, Krysa will be hanging out at Little Paper Planes with owner Kelly Lynn Jones (one of the influential artists featured in the book) and sharing tips for kicking your own creative block in the backside. Also, there will be wine.
When: Wednesday, March 5, 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Little Paper Planes, 855 Valencia Street (between 19th and 20th streets); 415-643-4616.
An Evening of Architecture and Jewelry With Ron Radziner
We like our environs how we like our jewelry — beautiful and striking. It only makes sense to combine the two for a night of inspiration (and shopping). The event will consist of a presentation by Ron Radziner and his design firm, Marmol Radziner, on its various works from architecture and furniture, to wearable art. This will be followed by a trunk show where you can find yourself the perfect piece of torched-bronze craft to take away. To top off the evening, a book signing by Radziner will leave you with an inspirational collection of the work he has dedicated himself to.
When: Tuesday, March 6, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Erica Tanov, 1827 4th Street (at Heart), Berkeley; 510-89-3331.
Urban Air Night Market
Get ready, because the Urban Air Market and Soma StrEAT Food Park are combining forces for weekly awesomeness beginning this Thursday. The Urban Air Market is known for providing the streets of S.F. with independent, sustainable designers, while the latter— a collection of food-truck goodness — brings the grub. Join them for a combo of musicians, delicious food, and artists in the magnetic surroundings of a beer and wine garden.
When: Thursday, March 6, 5 to 10 p.m.
Where: Soma StrEAT Food Park, 11th Street (at Harrison); No Phone.

Whether you genuinely enjoy the classics of Lou Reed and friends, or just want to see your childhood crush IRL, this happy-hour show is worth penciling in. Grab a slice of 'za and get ready to rock out.
When: Wednesday, March 5, 5 p.m.
