Being loyal Comey followers, we were happy to gather on a breezy rooftop to officially kick-off our Fashion Week galavanting. With St. Vincent's lulling vocals smoothing out all of our rough edges and specks of sun piercing the overcast sky, it was literally the perfect afternoon setting to match the designer's day-dreamy mood. Tumbleweeds and sunsets, road trips and the Steve Miller Band on cassette, Comey's spring/summer collection made us nostalgic for the sunny summer weekends we never really had but always wanted. Equally sweet were all the divine clothes to match: flowing floral jumpers, cropped palazzo pants smartly accented with inside-out pockets, and, of course, lots of beautifully tailored and utterly feminine dresses that we kind of die for from Rachel each season. It was a dreamy collection (don't even get us started on all the new platforms, brogues, and summer sandals!), and put us in the right state of mind for the très wacky week ahead.
