Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier are now designing for Marc By Marc Jacobs and the shift is notable — and awesome. Don't get us wrong, you should still turn to the label for fun-meets-edge. It's just that now, without the men's collection, the volume is turned way up. And, that makes sense. Last year's show was set to the tune of the "What Would Pussy Riot Do" theme song, and this year was once again all about girl power.

The boots are practical and fierce. The belts are thick and obvious. The dresses are flattering but not feminine. And, the suiting pieces? Well, they're just badass. Think: front-pleated trousers that extend into suspenders, a gray pant skort with bright red piping, and oversized blazers held closed with those aforementioned gigantic belts.

There's also the more playful side of MBMJ, which can be found in the graphic printed dresses and leggings emblazoned with those same four letters and words like "Twisted," "Uprising," and "Revolution." We hear it loud and clear. It's a revolution, indeed, for Marc By Marc, and we kinda wanna join the movement.
