Following Chanel's art-school presentation last Fashion Week, we didn't expect Karl Lagerfeld to let the spring campaign lose any of the vibrancy we first spotted in Paris. And, with the release of the French fashion house's new ads, it's clear he certainly hasn't.
Featuring models Lindsey Wixson and Sasha Luss, the recently debuted photos have all the colorful charm of the collection itself. There are tons of layered and colorblocked sweaters, ribbed socks paired with pumps, and, of course, those Chanel pearl-headphone necklaces we've been obsessed with for months. This time, they come stacked on, neck-brace style.
Also better in excess are the handbags. Lagerfeld puts Luss in a look that comes with three (maybe four?) Chanel chain-strapped bags piled on. Yes, she's a lucky lady. Of course, the big,
pink orange elephant in the room is Wixson's chopped, bright-auburn locks in an updo that can only be rivaled by Pebbles Flintstone. Click on to see all the richly colored, mirror-reflecting snaps in the slides ahead.
