Summer sartorial challenge: "I'm a big fan of layering, and once it gets to those 100 degree days in August where the heat is coming from the pavement and everyone is miserable and sweaty (I maintain it's nearly impossible to look chic while sweating), putting anything on your body other than a caftan is pretty painful, let alone a little jacket or cardigan. Thankfully I am a big fan of caftans."
Signature summer look: "I've been very into lace lately. And generally everything I wear is very, very short. I have a deep, abiding love for Jane Birkin (the Serge years, specifically)."
What I love most about my job: "I am very lucky in that my job revolves around attending fashion events and writing about culture. I've met some incredible people, a lot of whom I never would have had access to otherwise. I mean, during my first month being on staff I had dinner with Keith Richards. He called me 'sweetheart.' I swooned."
