A bold, dark lip is as quintessentially autumnal as changing leaves, chilly breezes, and cozy layers. In no other season does rich berry, burnt sienna, or even dark purple feel so right
. And, if you're ever going to really go for it in the statement lip department, now's the time.
In fact, we're such staunch supporters of the bold fall lip, we set out on a mission to prove that anyone
can wear it...starting with our own staff.
Because so many people worry that dark lipstick won't match their skin tone, we gathered women with a wide range of complexions, and asked makeup artist Kim Weber to find their most flattering dark color.
From people who had never touched such dark shades before to self-identified lipstick mavens, everyone was amazed at the stunning end results, and learned a thing or two about how to bring out our best features.
Click through to see our office-wide dark-lipstick adventure, and let us know if you're wearing this look, too.
