We've been experimenting with denim jackets since the day we first realized a popped collar could make all the difference. (So, somewhere around fifth grade?) And, since then, we've only become more and more intrigued at the interesting ways to wear the always classic, all-American wardrobe staple.
Even if you've owned the same one for the past 10 years, there are still plenty of unexpected ways to style the denim jacket. These next nine snaps are just the start. Drape your denim over a flirty, monochrome ensemble; button up one beneath a preppy blazer; tie it around your waist for a nod to the '90s; we could go on. Instead, take notes on the looks ahead, and breathe a bit of new life into an old standby.
