With Consuelo Castiglioni's slightly awkward take on silhouettes and strong support for the ugly-shoe movement (amen!), we're actually quite surprised that for the Marni spring '14 runway show, this is the first time the designer experimented with another quirky wardrobe essential: the visor. With every lady sporting a face-framing headpiece, the collection took to the runway, looking like a perfect day in the sun for the ultimate Marni girl.
Either drenched in floral prints or draped in extra-roomy high-waist pants, Castiglioni's models embodied the unconventional beauty of the designs. Plus, as each look is paired with the label's chunky, platform sandals and shower shoes, the show remained far from fussy, even despite the ladylike-waist cinching and completely bejeweled tracksuit. Yes, we said bejeweled tracksuit. Visor, included.
