A No-Brainer Way To Style A Leather Skirt

Who She Is: Stephanie Smith of Stylesmiths
Where We Spotted Her: Foggy Bottom
What She's Wearing: H&M T-shirt and sunglasses, Kirna Zabete for Target skirt, espadrilles from Italy.
Why We Love Her: We've seen so many iterations of the leather-skirt look already (and it's not even technically fall!), but we hadn't spied one that really spoke to us until we came across Stephanie and her slightly flared version. Leather miniskirts can veer into Pretty Woman-territory a bit too easily, while the impossibly slim pencil styles make walking more than a few blocks seem like a major undertaking. But this gentle A-line silhouette strikes the perfect balance between comfort and edge, and we love how she's kept the rest of her ensemble simple and effortless. A graphic tee and mirrored sunglasses add the right amount of tomboy flair, and while espadrilles wouldn't have come to mind first for us, she makes them seem like the most obvious choice to complete this look. What do you think? Will you snap up a leather skirt for fall — and try out this look for the end of summer?
