Leave it to Karen Walker to design a resort collection that practically comes with its own automatic out-of-office email. Yes, the New Zealand designer has crafted pieces that are so effortless, charming, and non-fussy, they scream for a weekend getaway, without any plastic flip-flops. In fact, the reason this collection is igniting wanderlust is because it's so simplistically chic. It's just the right amount of polish, prep, and ease we strive for when packing our own suitcases for a long weekend...only to end up bringing half our closet, of course.

Resort '14 is filled with the prettiest of sky blues, sherbet-y tangerine, and classic cream that make up tented minidresses, elegantly ruffled tanks, and adorable matching short sets. And, the lineup is not without a touch of print, as well, including gingham and wavy designs that are splashed across the collection. Of course, featuring a sweet braided updo and perfect sets of Karen Walker specs, the only thing missing from this lookbook is a bit more sunshine. That, and a one-way ticket to the destination of our choice.
