Kate Middleton, consider your post-pregnancy wardrobe sorted. And, you’ve got Alice Temperley to thank.
In a decadent and womanly resort ’14 collection, sumptuous fabrics are faultlessly executed into an array of dresses and skirt suits — prim enough for even the most royal of appointments. Floral embroideries, rose-patterned jacquards, and fluid-draping crepes in ladylike colourways provide visual enchantment, on top of all that luxe perfection. Well, the collection is called "Enchantment" after all.
Including many floor-sweeping gowns, this collection is far from the stuff of everyday wear (though, oh, how we wish it could be). Temperley describes her muse as, “an enchanted princess from the South of France who lives a charmed life and only ever wears beautiful clothes.” That's all good and well, but we’re pretty sure she’ll happily settle for Kate, too.
