You always remember your first...Chanel nail polish, that is. The famous formula, with its super-slick finish and consistently innovative shades, has an avid fan following — so avid, in fact, that the company has launched Couleurs Culte de Chanel (or Chanel Color Cult, for you non-francophiles), a collection of five classically covetable shades from the brand's archives. Members of the Color Cult include Particulière, a taupe-gray; Pirate, a perfect red; Black Satin, the original goth-glam ebony; Beige, the ideal...well, beige; and Rouge Noir, a gorgeous blackened red that's been resurrected for a limited-edition run.
As much as we love trendy new colors and finishes, sometimes you just can't beat the sophistication and class that a classic color adds to your look.
