Collaborations seem to be the way forward with menswear. A collection just doesn’t seem to be buzzy nowadays unless it’s the brainchild of two different designers, does it? Following the success of its first collab, the latest ASOS Black x Puma is back for seconds, with an new lookbook, and a collection set to hit the site in June.
The collab has a strong sportswear aesthetic, with yellow and blue hues as the dominant colour palette, alongside unique ombrés and optical polka-dot prints. Tailoring is also key, so think panelled shirts and unusual seam placements.
Ahead, the casting of tattooed guys with slick undercuts acts as an extra reminder that, in case you hadn’t noticed, this is totally cutting-edge stuff.
