You can spot the zigzags from a mile away. You waited hours in line for its Target-collaboration collection. Just seeing those bold colors and energizing prints can instantly put a pep in your step. Yes, we're talking about family-owned MissoniHome and its distinct decor accessories and textiles. And now, there is no need to purchase those luxe candles online or brave the department-store crowds for that statement throw. Because your every chevron-covered want and need can now be found in a single, physical location.
That's right, the first U.S. MissoniHome outpost opened its doors to the public last Friday in charming Southampton, NY. Why the Hamptons and not the bustling, well-foot-trafficked city? The brand couldn't think of a better place to establish its first brick-and-mortar, said Carlo Torrani, MissoniHome global commercial director and nephew to Missoni matriarch, Rosita. And, the wealthy New York community would be likely to embrace the vibrant, luxurious, resort-like mastery the brand is known for.
Okay, so maybe you can't make the trek to the quaint storefront on Jobs Lane (let alone afford that candle.) Luckily, future MissoniHome outposts may include L.A. and Miami, Torrani told us. Here's hoping. Until then, click through the slideshow for a peek inside the store.
