We've convinced ourselves that the makeup geniuses over at MAC must secretly be elves
or some other type of magical, non-sleeping, highly productive creatures. How else to explain their ability to whip up an inhuman amount of new makeup collections that consistently continue to deliver gorgeous, covet-worthy products and seasonal color stories?
Prime example: The new Temperature Rising summer collection
that just crossed our desks this week. We had finally stopped squealing like teenage girls over the adorable Baking Beauties
powders — which we could swear just launched a hot second ago — when along came these sexy, steamy, seductive summer primpers.
Housed in satiny, metallic bronze packaging, the collection features a healthy dose of bronzing products — in both powder and liquid forms — plus a gorgeous array of molten copper lip and eye products
, some complementary nude and plum shades, plus a few bright fuchsia hues thrown in for that extra pop of color that adds a fun counterpoint to all those sultry metallics. Temperature Rising doesn't launch until May 23
, but we are already all over
the Powerchrome Eye Pencils in Copper Strip and Life's Luxury, not to mention the glittery Tropical and Scorching Haute Nail Lacquers. Looks like those magical MAC elves/fairies/miscellaneous supernatural beings have done it again.
Click through to see the collection in all of its seductive glory, then tell us: Which colors will you be snapping up to spice up your summer?
MAC Temperature Rising, $16.50-$44, available May 23 at MAC.
