Is This The Set Of Mad Men? Nope, Just The JCPenney Home Lookbook

In fashion and decor, we know it's definitely possible to find gems from all types of sources — flea markets, boutiques, and yes, even your neighborhood mass retailer. And lucky for us, jcpenney's spring 2013 home collection brings us a mine full.
Featuring collections from design vets like Jonathan Adler, Sir Terence Conran, Martha Stewart, and legendary architect Michael Graves, as well as brands BODUM, ORDNING&REDA, and Pantone Universe, the lookbook showcases all the geometric shapes, classic silhouettes, and colors (sans avocado) one would expect from an episode of Mad Men. While the midcentury-modern aesthetic is no stranger to Adler — who has an obvious penchant for bold and quirky — or Conran, a trailblazer in post-war interior design, even Stewart's normally feminine, basic products get a modern update. Still, when you see these pieces, you'll definitely spot the designers' perspectives — and, surprisingly, the price tags that go along with their names.
And while some will embrace the bold colors and prints enveloping Adler's bedding, others will rest more comfortably on his royal blue tufted chair, with a cocktail on Conran's wooden console table, gazing through Stewart's breezy, sheer window panels. The collections are currently available online and will be in stores in June. But while you're waiting, preview our favorite pieces — complete with tripod lamps, analog clocks, and structural-but-functional pieces — ahead.
