Now that Coachella has come to a close, it suddenly feels like our iCal's lacking a little bit of excitement. To fill the void, we've curated five events that are sure to please all walks of L.A. life. Whether you prefer to spend your evenings sprucing up that mani or witnessing a bit of music history, we're pretty positive this itinerary will cure those post-'Chella blues.

Doing Good Is Now A Piece Of Cake
No matter how you choose to celebrate Earth Day, it's important to do your part. Hence, you'll find us at La Monarca Bakery, chowing down on some cakes for a cause. The sweet spot will donate 10% of the proceeds from all cake sales at its stores to ECOLIFE from now through Sunday, April 28. This project hits close to home because the Monarch Butterfly populations in Mexico have dipped lower than ever reported since 1976, and the folks at La Monarca are obviously big fans of the bugs. Swing by for a bite, and stick around for educational activities (perfect for a day trip with your kid cousin!)
When: Now through Sunday, April 28, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: La Monarca Bakery, 5700 Whittier Boulevard (at); 323-869-8800.

Paint The Town Red (Or Pink, Or Yellow, Or Blue!) This Wednesday Night
Take a look at your digits. Do they need a fresh coat? Then head on over to the Standard Hotel, Downtown for a polish party with L.A.'s own RGB Cosmetics. Stephanie Stone of Nailing Hollywood will be on hand to give you that hot new hue (including the brand's spring shades), and plenty of Champagne drinks will be served. Just make sure your tips are dry before reaching for that flute!
When: Wednesday, April 24, 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Standard Hotel, Downtown, 550 South Flower Street (at West 6th Street); 213-892-8080.
RSVP: Here.

Denim Shopping With Molly Sims? What More Could You Ask For?
You already bought some guilt-free baked goods from La Monarca Bakery, so why not continue the charitable streak by snagging some denim at the Swing into Spring party to benefit One Voice? Hosted by Molly Sims with Hudson Jeans and Scoop NYC, the event is a great chance to try on new threads, nosh on some refreshments, and listen to DJ Lindsay Luv on the ones and twos — all for a great cause.
When: Thursday, April 25, 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Scoop NYC, 216 26th Street (near San Vicente Boulevard); 424-238-5499.
RSVP: Here.

How To Have A Picture-Perfect Weekend
Sure, your Instagram snaps may earn you a serious amount of "likes," but why not check out some real-deal work at the most prestigious art fair dedicated to historical and contemporary photography? With events held only in The City of Light and The City of Angels, you'd regret skipping this show — unless you have some spare miles saved for a trip to Paris! With an entrance fee of $28 ($20 for students), feel free to pick up a print, or just get inspired.
When: Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27, noon to 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 28, noon to 6 p.m.
Where: Paramount Pictures Studios, 5555 Melrose Avenue (between North Gower Street and North Van Ness Avenue); 323-956-8398.

Shop And Stare: Madonna's Outrageous Outfits On View For One Evening
Want a little fashion history lesson with your next trip to the mall? Then book it to Century City this Thursday for a one-night pop-up event, featuring some of Madonna's most iconic costumes. Cone bustiers were flown in from a Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit in Amsterdam, her Like A Virgin wedding dress is on loan from the legendary Hard Rock, and the remaining items are from Madge’s personal archives. So, you can learn about the Material Girl's roots while shopping the collection.
When: Thursday, April 25, 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Macy’s, 10250 Santa Monica Boulevard (near Avenue of the Stars); 310-556-1611.
