main
First things first, if anyone else is suffering from the same Cadbury-egg-induced hangover that we are, well, we feel for you. And, while the Monday morning wake-up call may have had us cursing all weekday duties, we’ve come up with an event list that just might be our ticket out of sugar-coma-land!

Whether you’re down to master some DIY party-nail art or stock up on surf-centric threads, these shindigs are worthy of a night out and about on the town! So, put down those Peeps once and for all and get excited for this bounty of hot happenings!
Saturdays Surf NYC Pop-Up Shop
While it might be a tad too soon to start chasing the not-so-endless S.F. summer, Saturdays Surf NYC is coming to town and throwing a can’t-miss soiree with the folks at the Hayes Valley menswear outpost Welcome Stranger! The stellar lineup of beachy, casual duds seem to be, dare we say it, perfectly suited for the Bay. We can’t wait to check out these NYC imports for ourselves!
When: Thursday, April 4, 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Welcome Stranger, 460 Gough Street (between Grove and Hayes streets); 415-864-2079.
DIY Nail Art With Party Nails
As if we are ever in need of an excuse to don funky nail art, the fabulous founder of Party Nails, Taylor Watson, is here to teach us once and for all how to create our own fancy finger designs! You’ll leave this class not only with a set of freshly painted nails, but the skills to apply gems, studs, and various floral and animal prints to those digits of yours! And, the fete favor of choice? A fun how-to ‘zine and tool kit with brushes, a nail wheel, and a few polishes to call your own!
When: Thursday, April 4, 8 to 10 p.m.
Where: Workshop S.F., 1798 McAllister Street (at Baker Street); 415-874-9186.
Price: $42; RSVP here.
Gal Meets Glam At Theory
Remember this S.F. blogging babe? It’s time to count your lucky stars because Julia of Gal Meets Glam is teaming up with Theory to host a night of spring shopping — complete with noshes, cocktails, oh, and a whopping 20% off! We can’t remember the last time we were this excited to rub shoulders with S.F.’s leading fashion ladies and score some polished spring looks from Theory on the cheap!
When: Thursday, April 4, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Theory, 120 Maiden Lane (between Grant and Stockton streets); 415-399-1099.
RSVP: Here.
Park And Pond Pop-Up
The S.F. sister duo behind Park and Pond never disappoint when it comes to locally made goods of all kinds, which is why their latest venture, a new pop-up shop at the California Historical Society, is sure to be a total hit! The new temporary locale, which officially opens for biz this week, focuses on Cali-made bits and bops and will be in conjunction with the Historical Society’s latest exhibit, "Curating the Bay: Crowdsourcing a New Environmental History." Indulging our shopping habit and inner history buff in one fell swoop? We are so in!
When: Sunday, April 7 through August 2013, noon to 5 p.m.
Where: California Historical Society, 678 Mission Street (at Annie Street); 415-357-1848.

Mother Denim at Dish
One of our tried-and-true favorites jean designers, Mother Denim never lets us down in the dungaree department. So, a night dedicated to a sneak peek of its new spring and fall looks, complete with cocktails crafted by S.F.’s own Blackbird Bar, and a raffle for jeans and various goodie bags has us completely smitten! Start your weekend off right by stopping by Hayes Valley boutique Dish for an evening of denim and darn-good drinks! Bottoms up!
When: Friday, April 5, 5 to 8 p.m.
Where: Dish, 540 Hayes Street (between Laguna and Octavia streets); 415-252-5997.
