Shiny, "actress-y" hair is beautiful, but what gets us even more excited is edgy, fresh red carpet updos. From Marion Cotillard's badass pouf to Amanda Seyfried's — well, we don't quite know what that is — we're loving the recent influx of updo inspiration (especially useful for busy mornings or those always-difficult day to night transitions). So abandon that bun, ditch the pony: These are some really fresh new ways to dress up your locks.
