Feeling up for a bigger challenge than wearing your pajamas out of the house? Ready for something that'll tell the world that what you wear at home is so chic, it'd be offensive to change when (if?) you head outside?
Enter: Louis Vuitton's fall '13 show, which expounded on some of the ideas of Marc Jacobs' eponymous collection earlier this February. With similar-style haircuts (Louis Vuitton's was a bit less punk than at Marc Jacob), similar states of undress (so much underwear!), and similar '50s-style (conservative silhouettes in the form of overcoats, skirt suits, and pajamas), Marc Jacobs seems intent on selling this louche, luxe, inside-wear as outside-wear deal. The message was made especially obvious with the continuous hotel door opening/shutting runway routine the models performed. If only our pjs-all-day moments were more like this...
