Estée Lauder's Gorg Mad Men Makeup Is More Betty, Less Joan

When Estée Lauder debuted its first round of makeup products inspired by Emmy-award-winning series Mad Men, we were, admittedly, totally giddy. Yes, we watch the show for the drama and storytelling, but admittedly, one of the biggest draws? The gorgeous, '60s-era makeup looks, which perfectly capture the period and yet seem totally translatable to right now. The day after a good viewing marathon, we're throwing on some liquid liner and a high-waisted skirt and strutting our stuff like nobody's business.

The latest additions to the Mad Men collection (available this month in anticipation of April's season-six premiere) are way more Betty than Joan, with throwback packaging featuring a vintage print and the most perfect shades of perky pink we've ever seen. Our favorite pick: a rosy, glowy, fine-milled blush, encased in an enamel case that just begs to be whipped out at the dinner table. We may not be into retro gender politics, but when it comes to exquisitely crafted vintage cosmetics, well, you can definitely count us in.
