Flower Power! Serial Cultura’s Latest Lookbook Has Blossomed For Spring

When it comes to spring fashion, there’s no better designer to turn to than Jennifer Jennings of Serial Cultura. Her signature poppy-hued patterns and breathable, luxurious fabrics makes the brand our go-to when the Bay winds start to settle down. The latest spring collection takes those same expectations and then surpasses ’em! In the label’s spring ’13 lookbook, a fiery-locked model shows off the freshly stitched creations, including a baby-blue tank dress speckled with a sun-spot pattern. Swoon!
Always a key component to any Serial Cultura piece, the prints this time around were inspired by vintage botanical illustrations and herbarium photographs. “I was fascinated with the ‘frozen state’ of the plants, as well as the beauty of the preserved state of flowers. Some were almost like abstract drawings,” says Jennings. Who knew frozen inspiration would make this collection bloom?
