Although Borgo traditionally casts friends and fashion insiders in his ad campaigns (think the likes of Giovanna Battaglia and The Kill's Alison Mosshart), this year he's trying something new — showcasing an actual model in his spring '13 ad campaign. But we're not just taking any model.
"Anja [Rubik] is an extraordinary woman with remarkable talent that speaks volumes beyond the images she seduces us with in magazines," says Borgo, who we've come to love for his super-edgy, don't-mess-with-me, and artillery-esque statement pieces. Naturally, spring '13 follows suit as it features rich, yellow-gold tones, thick coiling necklaces and bracelets, and knuckle rings — definitely a collection not for the weak of heart.
While the collection won't be hitting major department stores until the end of this month, the pieces are already available for purchase on Eddie Borgo.com. (Hint, hint: Just in case Cupid was a little late this year.)
