In addition to participating in a classic Benetton-style — not to mention beautiful, vibrant, and personality-filled — photo shoot, the models took the time to speak on camera about their life experiences. And what experiences these stars have had. Lea T, born under the name Leandro Cerezo, has had major success as a gender-reassigned top fashion model. Elettra Wiedemann cofounded One Frickin Day, a charity that raises funds for the implementation of natural resources and is the CEO of Goodness, a pop-up restaurant that aims to bring affordable, locally sourced food to fashion communities around the world. Former Sudanese refugee Alek Wek has spoken alongside Hillary Clinton, launched a campaign in conjunction with Doctors Without Borders, and been named one of People magazine’s “50 Most Influential Faces In Fashion.”
