The new year has been pretty generous to the Bay when it comes to new drinking-and-dining options—and we're barely a month in! But now comes the tough part: Scoring a reservation. And that's only half the equation. The other piece of it is selecting an eye-popping ensemble that will make your night extra special.

Of course, we're coming to your sartorial rescue — so you can focus on chowing down — with three must-copy outfits to sport to a trio of already-acclaimed joints. We've coordinated the clothes to match the aesthetic of each buzzy venue — from the Pantone-themed libation haven Trick Dog to Oakland's sleek and tasty Ramen Shop. Have a look-see and get inspired—and we'll see you out on the town! !

Duende
Duende
Uptown Oakland is getting cooler by the second with new additions stirring things up left and right. And if soulful Spanish cuisine is up your alley, crossing the bridge to dine at the much talked-about new eatery, Duende (which literally translates to art), should be penciled on your to-do list, pronto. Graphic décor, rustic furniture, live music, artisanal wines on tap, and tasty tapas — this place has some snazzy offerings that are wildly impressive. Just stepping into the restro is sure to lift spirits, as it houses a color-soaked interior that showcases the space (the old Flower Depot) in a beautiful way. It's a real feast for the eyes. We selected a statement-making boho-esque Mary Meyer dress, with red booties, and charming accessories that fit right in with the spicy nature of the restaurant. Art and chow, here we come!

Ramen Shop
We’re not going to lie — we were waiting with bated breath to try Chez Panisse alum Sam White, Rayneil De Guzman, and Jerry Jaksich's much-anticipated culinary endeavor, Ramen Shop. The Oakland eatery’s innovative design alone is enough to get us (and keep us) talking — with a sleek, modern yet traditional setting with reclaimed wood, minimal and high-impact Japanese adornments (including an awesome fish-themed art piece hanging above the waiting area), and hand-strewn pottery throughout the restaurant. This place is a marvelous melding of authentic meets hip. Obviously, selecting an ensemble that mimics that is key. So, for your outing to Ramen Shop we suggest a neutral-toned skirt, paired with a top and accessories with a hint of red, along with a structured ring and purse. Oh, and the food is so bonkers you’ll probably have an out of body experience of some sorts (we did) — yes, it’s that good. Tip: The spicy miso, gem salad, and sesame ice cream sammies are our jams! Try the noms and the ‘fits... immediately.

TrickDog
Trick Dog
In case you’ve been kicking it under a rock lately, you are well aware that Trick Dog is the buzziest libation haven to swing open its doors in S.F. in some time. The craft-cocktail-centric joint is not just your average ol’ watering hole. Brought to us by the impeccable, drink-mixing masters, The Bon Vivants, this place does not play around when it comes to serving you a stiff, smooth, pinch-yourself-it's-so-good concoction. Located along the booming stretch of 20th Street in the Mission, there is a running theme of color and design that permeates throughout the bar, straight down to the menu — how is that for attention to detail? The Pantone-themed drinks and the hue-soaked bar stools are juxtaposed by woodsy details. We’ve selected a bright, cheery outfit that fits right in and is comfy and cool, just like this hotspot is. Bottoms up!
