If you know anything about Refinery29, it's that, for us, aspirational style and beauty doesn't begin and end with supermodels. Luckily, the crew at AllSaints agrees, which is why they've tapped a group of "international creatives" (i.e., real people with insanely cool jobs) to star in its spring '13 campaign, "Portrait of a Collection."
The first installment of the ongoing photo series isn't entirely model-free, of course, with newbie Hollie May Saker, singer/model Sophie Dickens, Argentinean model/actress Chloe Bello, and androgynous up-and-comer Casey Legler, the first female model exclusively signed to Ford Models' male division, among the ranks.
Still, there's a nicely balanced mix, with actress Sonja Kinski, Ukrainian photographer/DJ Cate Underwood, musician Matthew Hitt, skateboarder/tattoo artist Vinnie Woolston, filmmaker/photographer Sean Frank, photographer Bon Duke, and British artist Barry Reigate rocking the label's latest wares.
"Spring is a consciously evolved, refined, and curated collection that distils our brand identity of an attitudinal, metropolitan wardrobe," AllSaints creative director Wil Beedle says. "These portraits document that evolution."
We'll say. Looking good, cool kids.
